Properly knowing the karmic causes and effects of sentient beings,
His mind is concentrated and unmoving like the king of mountains.
Sentient beings' faculties are graded into superior, middling, and inferior,
And their desires and inclinations are various and distinct.
Various are the different natures of the worlds,
And all paths and teachings differ individually.
With past-life knowledge he completely knows the karma of the three times;
With the heavenly eye, he thoroughly discerns the ten directions without obstruction.
Following all discriminations he fills the ten directions,
His mind free of defilements, eternally undefiled.
Endowed with mastery in these ten virtues,
These are called the Tathāgata's powers of fearlessness.
