First, in explaining the name and designation of the ground: why is it named the Far-Reaching Ground? Because on this ground one practices the perfection of expedient means, and through the three samādhis of emptiness within the Sixth Ground, manifests immeasurable gates of uncreated wisdom, being able to enter immeasurable realms of sentient beings, enter immeasurable activities of teaching and transforming sentient beings, and enter immeasurable world nets. Using uncreated wisdom to enter all worldly realms, it completely and universally pervades in equality with sentient beings' conduct; therefore it is named the Far-Reaching Ground. Because its practices entering the worldly realm are all-pervading and vast, it is named the Far-Reaching Ground.
