3.54

Third, again from beneath the wheels of the feet he emits the entered fruit-light, using it to illuminate the Buddha of Immovable Wisdom of the Golden World. That is still the fruit Buddha, and is also the fundamental essence of vajra-wisdom. Mañjuśrī is the mother from the initial mind up to the ultimate fulfillment of the fruit, through which the awakened fundamental dharmakāya becomes wisdom. In that the fruit-light between the eyebrows enters into the wheels of the feet, that is fulfilling the cause by means of the fruit. Again using the entered fruit-light from beneath the wheels of the feet to re-emerge and illuminate the Buddha of Immovable Wisdom of the Golden World, that is using the cause to fulfill the fruit. Using the fruit to fulfill the cause, suddenly demonstrating it by means of the fruit, serves to accomplish the gate of initial faith, whereupon through the ten 'Head' bodhisattvas such as Wisdom Head, the stage of faith is fulfilled. The marks of practice of that stage will be clarified extensively later.
