Fourth, when the 'Chapter on the Ten Abodes' is expounded, ascending to the summit of Mount Sumeru, the Tathāgata emits light from the tips of his toes to clarify the beginning of setting out on foot and the start of seeing the Way; through the power of samādhi he abides at the summit of dharmas, entering true verification from the previous stage of faith. Mount Sumeru clarifies that because of stopping, wisdom becomes clear; to enter into the noble stages of the ten abodes, one definitely requires concentration to be able to have true wisdom shine clearly. Therefore, the bodhisattvas of the stage of the ten abodes all share 'Wisdom' as the final part of their names.
