十通品二十八（卷四十四。定從體立，通從用生，體用不二准前可知。是故理有方能事用，事由於理，故六即中名理通具）

"Chapter on the Ten Supernatural Knowledges", Twenty-eight (Fascicle 44. Samādhi is established from the essence, and supernatural knowledge is generated from the function; that essence and function are non-dual can be understood by analogy with what came before. Therefore, only when principle exists can there be practical function; practical function stems from principle, so within the six identities it is called 'supernatural knowledge endowed in principle'.)
