(Fascicle 43) "Regarding the tenth, the samādhi of the unhindered wheel: everything is unhindered." Samantacakṣus addressed Samantabhadra: "Attaining such teachings, being equal to the Tathāgata, why are they not called 'Buddha'? Why are they not called 'ten powers', 'all-knowledge', and so forth? Why do they cultivate Samantabhadra's practices and vows without resting? Why can they not exhaust the dharmadhātu and relinquish the bodhisattva path?" Samantabhadra told him: "This bodhisattva is indeed called 'Buddha'. Cultivating bodhisattva practice in the presence of the Tathāgata without resting, they are called 'bodhisattva'. Having completely entered all the powers of the Tathāgata, they are called 'ten powers'. Progressively increasing in excellence through contemplating, they are called 'bodhisattva'. Although they have verified Samantacakṣus, their realm of experience increases, so they are called 'bodhisattva'. They attain sambodhi in all buddha-lands, or attain sambodhi in a single thought-moment, or attain sambodhi in an instant, a short period, a day, half a month, a month, or up to inexpressible kalpas."
