經曰「愍傷眾生」者，述云：此第四、結化善巧也。愍謂慈愍，傷謂悲傷。傷愍眾生，故無相不現。

The sūtra says: "Pitying and grieving for sentient beings." The commentary states: This fourth part concludes the skillfulness of transformation. 'Pity' (愍) means loving kindness and pity; 'grieving' (傷) means compassion and grief. Because they grieve for and pity sentient beings, there is no form they do not manifest.
