2.78

經曰「我當哀愍」至「快樂安隱」者，述云：此第三、求淨土之意也。度脫一切者，即出穢域之利。心悅快樂者，即入淨土益。為此二利，故求土果。

On the passage where the sūtra states, "I shall have pity..." up to "joyful, peaceful, and secure": The commentary states: This is, thirdly, the intent of seeking a pure land. "Delivering and liberating all" is the benefit of emerging from the defiled realm. "Mind joyful and peaceful" is the benefit of entering the pure land. For these two benefits, he seeks the fruit of the land.
