經曰「雖一世勤苦」至「涅槃之道」者，述云：此後、舉利令修也。身與福俱，故道德合。心與智俱，故云合明。

On the sūtra's words from "Although one lifetime is toilsome and bitter" to "the way of nirvāṇa": the commentary states: This subsequent part adduces the benefit to induce practice. The body accompanies merit, hence "the Way and virtue unite." The mind accompanies wisdom, hence it says "unite in brilliance."
