Second is the contemplation of the water. First, forming the visualization of water presents the objective realm to be contemplated. From "Seeing the water clear and pure" onwards, directly giving rise to contemplative practice. From "This is the visualization of water" onwards concludes the contemplation. First, forming the visualization of water; second, transforming the water into ice; third, transforming the ice into lapis lazuli; fourth, contemplating the lapis lazuli to form the great earth, internally and externally transparent and clear, supported beneath the ground by jeweled pillars, with various adorned marks above the ground, the ground being interspersed with various jewels, each jewel emitting multicolored radiance. The radiance forms various towers and pavilions, and on both sides of the towers and pavilions there are flower banners, upon which are many musical instruments proclaiming wondrous sounds. As for the "eight kinds of pure winds", in that place there are actually no seasons; if using these eight, it refers to excluding above and below, leaving the remaining four cardinal directions and four intermediate directions, hence called eight. They can also correspond to the eight trigrams.
