2.56

六、從耆婆白言下，至慎莫害母已來，明二臣重諫。此明耆婆實答大王，若欲得我等為相者，願勿害母也。此直諫竟。

Sixth, from 'Jīva addressed him, saying' down to 'Take care not to harm your mother' explains the two ministers' repeated remonstrance. This explains that Jīva truly answered the Great King: 'If you wish to have us as ministers, we pray you do not harm your mother.' This concludes the direct remonstrance.
