Fourth, from "I only pray that the Buddha-Sun" down to "places of pure action," it clearly shows the consort's general request for the practice to depart. This clarifies that whereas above the consort made a general request for a place to be born, now she also made a general request for the practice that enables rebirth. The phrase "Buddha-Sun" employs both the teaching and a metaphor. Just as when the sun rises, all darkness is completely removed; the radiant light of the Buddha's wisdom makes the night of ignorance clear as day. From the phrase "Teach me to contemplate the pure..." down, it clearly shows that having become able to revile the defiled and rejoice in the pure, [she asked] how to focus the mind and meditate so as to attain rebirth in a pure place.
