Sixth, from "The king of wish-fulfilling jewels" down to "mindful of the Buddha, Dharma, and Saṅgha," it directly explains that the maṇi has many divine virtues. There are four points: first, it explains that golden light emerges from within the jewel-king; second, it explains that the light transforms into birds of a hundred jewels; third, it explains that the birds' songs are plaintive and elegant, beyond compare with celestial music; fourth, it explains that the jeweled birds in continuous sounds and with one voice praise mindfulness of the Buddha, Dharma, and Saṅgha. Indeed, the Buddha is the unsurpassed great teacher of sentient beings, eliminating error and turning toward the correct; the Dharma is the unsurpassed good medicine for sentient beings, able to sever the poisonous illness of afflictions so that the dharmakāya is pure; the Saṅgha is the unsurpassed field of merit for sentient beings—if one merely devotes one's mind to the four requisites without begrudging fatigue, the circumstantial retribution of the five vehicles will naturally arrive as needed in response to one's thoughts. The jeweled jewel first generates the water of eight tastes, and later emits various golden lights; not only does it dispel darkness and eliminate obscurity, but everywhere it is able to perform the Buddha's work.
