Answer: "This explains that the Tathāgata has a special, esoteric intention. Because the Sahā world is a realm of suffering where miscellaneous evils dwell together, scorched by the eight sufferings, where every movement turns into transgression, where false intimates wear smiles, where the six thieves constantly follow, and where one is on the very verge of falling into the fire-pits of the three evil paths: if he did not raise his foot to rescue the deluded, how could one escape the prison of karmic bondage? For this reason, he stands ready to seize and go, without time to sit upright to meet their capacities." Fourth, it explains that Avalokiteśvara and Mahāsthāmaprāpta serve as his attendants, indicating that there are no other retinues; fifth, it explains that the bodies and minds of the three honoured ones are completely pure and their radiance is exceedingly bright; sixth, it explains that the light of the Buddha's body shines brilliantly upon the ten directions, so how could pṛthagjanas with defiled hindrances behold it fully? Seventh, it explains that the Buddha's body is taintless, and his light is likewise so; how could one compare it to celestial gold, which has outflows?
