四、從時韋提希見無量下，至作禮已來，正明韋提實是垢凡女質，不足可言。但以聖力冥加，彼佛現時，得蒙稽首。斯乃序臨淨國，喜歎無以自勝。今乃正覩彌陀，更益心開悟忍。

Fourth, from "At that time Vaidehī saw Amitāyus" down to "made obeisance," it directly explains that Vaidehī was in fact a defiled pṛthagjana of female form, not worthy of mention. Yet through the unseen empowerment of the sage's power, when that Buddha appeared, she was enabled to bow her head. Thus, when initially beholding the Pure Land, her joy and praise were uncontrollable; now, directly beholding Amitābha, her mind opened even further to realize forbearance.
