4.119

問曰：「如四十八願中，唯除五逆、誹謗正法不得往生。今此《觀經》下品下生中，簡謗法、攝五逆者，有何意也？」

Question: "As stated in the forty-eight vows, only those who commit the five deadly sins or slander the true Dharma are excluded from rebirth. Why does the lowest rank of the lower grade in this Dhyāna Sūtra exclude slandering the Dharma yet accept those who commit the five deadly sins? What is the meaning of this?"
