4.126

讚云：「下輩下行下根人，十惡五逆等貪瞋，四重偷僧謗正法，未曾慚愧悔前愆。終時苦相如雲集，地獄猛火罪人前，忽遇往生善知識，急勸專稱彼佛名。化佛菩薩尋聲到，一念傾心入寶蓮，三華障重開多劫，於時始發菩提因。」

In praise it is said: / "Persons of the lower grade, of lower conduct and lower capacity, / Commit the ten evils, five deadly sins, greed, and anger; / Violating the four gravest precepts, stealing from the Sangha, slandering the true Dharma, / They have never felt shame nor repented past transgressions. / At the end of life, painful portents gather like clouds, / The fierce fires of hell appear before the sinner; / Suddenly meeting a good spiritual friend of rebirth, / Urgently encouraged to exclusively recite that Buddha's name. / Transformed Buddhas and Bodhisattvas arrive following the sound; / In a single thought of devoted aspiration, they enter the jeweled lotus; / Heavy hindrances keep the flower closed for many kalpas, / Whereupon they first generate the cause of bodhi."
