六、從佛告阿難汝好持是語已下，正明付屬彌陀名號，流通於遐代。上來雖說定散兩門之益，望佛本願，意在眾生一向專稱彌陀佛名。

Sixth, the passage from "The Buddha addressed Ānanda, 'Uphold these words well'" downward directly clarifies entrusting Amitābha's name to be transmitted to distant generations. Although the benefits of both meditative and non-meditative gates have been expounded above, looking toward the Buddha's fundamental vow, the intention is for sentient beings single-mindedly to exclusively recite Amitābha Buddha's name.
