"‘If one contemplates otherwise, it is called an incorrect contemplation.’" Diverging from the preceding object and measure is called "contemplating otherwise." Not being correct is called "incorrect." Even though they are contemplation methods of the Buddhist Greater or Lesser Vehicles, if they are not contemplations for rebirth in the Pure Land, they are all one-sided and incorrect, though they are not the same as the "incorrect" of non-Buddhist wrong views. The rest are all analogous to this. Fourth, the contemplation of the trees, in three parts: first, concluding the preceding and introducing the subsequent; second, directly explaining the contemplation practice; third, concluding instruction. First, concluding the preceding and introducing the subsequent.
