3.100

「『以智慧光普照一切，令離三塗，得無上力，是故號此菩薩名大勢至。』」以光照眾生拔苦與樂，從威勢為名。無上力者，即十力也。三、觀天冠，三：初、華；二、臺；三、臺中現土。初、華。

"‘With the light of wisdom he universally illuminates all beings, causing them to leave behind the three bad destinies and attain unsurpassable power. For this reason, this bodhisattva is called Mahāsthāmaprāpta.’" Because he illuminates sentient beings with light, pulling them out of suffering and giving them joy, the name is established from his majestic power. "Unsurpassable power" refers to the ten powers. Third, contemplating the heavenly crown has three parts: first, the flowers; second, the pedestals; third, the manifestation of lands within the pedestals. First, the flowers.
