「『但見此菩薩一毛孔光，即見十方無量諸佛淨妙光明，是故號此菩薩名無邊光。』」因見菩薩一毛光即見十方諸佛光，從光立名。二、從威勢為名。

"‘Merely seeing the light of a single pore of this bodhisattva, one immediately sees the pure and wondrous light of the immeasurable Buddhas of the ten directions. For this reason, this bodhisattva is called Boundless Light.’" Because by seeing the light of a single pore of the bodhisattva one immediately sees the light of the Buddhas of the ten directions, the name is established from the light. Second, deriving the name from majestic power.
