「佛告阿難及韋提希：『上品上生者，』」二、釋，四：初、修因；二、感勝緣；三、見已得生；四、生後益。初、修因，二：初、發三心；二、修三行。初、發三心。

"The Buddha told Ānanda and Vaidehī, ‘Those of the highest level of the highest rank:’" Second, explaining it has four [parts]: first, the cultivation of the causes; second, eliciting the superior conditions; third, obtaining rebirth upon seeing [them]; and fourth, the benefits after rebirth. First, the cultivation of the causes has two [parts]: first, arousing the three minds; and second, cultivating the three practices. First, arousing the three minds.
