「『上品中生者，』」二、釋，四：初、修因；二、感緣；三、得往生；四、生後益。初、修因，二：初、行業；二、發願。初。行業。

"‘Those of the middle level of the highest rank:’" Second, explaining it has four [parts]: first, cultivating the causes; second, eliciting the conditions; third, attaining rebirth; and fourth, the benefits after rebirth. First, cultivating the causes has two [parts]: first, karmic practices; and second, making vows. First, karmic practices.
