「『以此功德迴向，願求生極樂國。』」迴此功德向彼莊嚴，故云迴向。若無願求，縱有信解，不出輪迴。二、感緣，三：初、眾聖來迎；二、讚歎安慰；三、授手接引。初、眾聖來迎。

"‘Dedicating this merit, they make vows seeking to be born in the Land of Utmost Bliss.’" Dedicating this merit toward that adornment is called "dedicating." If one lacks the vow and seeking, even if one possesses faith and understanding, one will not transcend saṃsāra. Second, eliciting the conditions has three [parts]: first, the arrival of the assembly of sages to welcome them; second, praising and consoling; and third, extending hands to receive them. First, the arrival of the assembly of sages to welcome them.
