「『如此愚人臨命終時，遇善知識種種安慰，為說妙法，教令念佛。』」說妙法者，讚淨土也。令念佛者，作觀想也。二、病苦不能。

"‘When such a foolish person approaches the end of his life, he meets a good friend who comforts him in various ways, expounds the wondrous Dharma for him, and teaches him to be mindful of the Buddha.’" Expounding the wondrous Dharma means praising the Pure Land. Teaching him to be mindful of the Buddha means performing contemplation. Second, the inability due to painful illness.
