3.255

「『當坐道場，生諸佛家。』」坐道場者，謂成佛也。得道之場，故名道場。一切諸佛皆於菩提樹下，趺坐斷惑破魔成道。法身一體，諸佛同證，故是佛家。〈勢至章〉云「去佛不遠」，《小本經》云「皆得不退阿耨菩提」，並同此意。三、付屬憶持。

"‘They will sit in the place of enlightenment and be born in the household of all Buddhas.’" "Sitting in the place of enlightenment" means attaining Buddhahood. The place where one attains the Way is therefore called the "place of enlightenment" (bodhimaṇḍa). All Buddhas sit cross-legged beneath the bodhi tree, severing delusions, crushing Māra, and attaining the Way. The Dharma body is of one substance, jointly realized by all Buddhas; hence it is the "household of the Buddhas." The "Chapter on Mahāsthāmaprāpta" says: "Not far from the Buddha." The Smaller Sūtra says: "All will attain non-retrogression from anuttarā-samyak-saṃbodhi." These all share this meaning. Third, entrusting for remembering and upholding.
