3.91

「『作是觀者，不遇諸禍、淨除業障，除無數劫生死之罪。』」不遇諸禍，除現難也。除無數劫罪，破往業也。三、舉聞以況。

"[The Buddha said:] 'Those who perform this contemplation will not encounter calamities, will purify their karmic hindrances, and will eliminate the sins of saṃsāra accumulated over countless kalpas.'" Not encountering calamities means eliminating present hardships. Eliminating the sins of countless kalpas means eradicating past karma. Third, citing hearing [his name] by way of comparison.
