次明第二德水澄瀾。《無量壽論》云：水莊嚴也。文有七：一、池瑩七珍；二、水含八德；三、下填寶礫；四、上匝玉階；五、珠臺際天；六、鮮華吐褥；七、結成極樂。

Next is the clarification of the second [topic], the waters of good qualities with clear waves. The Treatise on the Infinite Life Sūtra says: 'The adornment of water.' The text has seven [points]: first, ponds glittering with the seven treasures; second, waters containing the eight good qualities; third, lined below with jewel gravel; fourth, encircled above by jade stairways; fifth, pearl pavilions reaching to the sky; sixth, fresh flowers spreading like cushions; seventh, concluding that it is Sukhāvatī.
