The Praise says: The third [feature is that] the sky is filled with heavenly music. Music is played in the air, its sounds proclaiming the voice of Dharma; when the people of that land hear it, all give rise to wholesome thoughts. The Contemplation Sūtra says: 'Innumerable musical instruments hang suspended in empty space, playing by themselves without being struck; whether in the groves or on the banners, musical instruments are hung everywhere, all harmoniously playing of themselves. In accordance with the intentions of sentient beings, they all play the sounds of the Dharma; humans and devas who hear them all generate the resolve for the Way, some singing of the six perfections, and some praising the three vehicles.'
