答：「不然，先後異耳。故《大論》四十五又云：菩薩有先自成就功德然後度眾生者，有先成就眾生後自成就功德者。」

Answer: 'It is not so; it is merely a difference of before and after. Therefore fascicle forty-five of the Dàzhìdù Lùn also states: "Among bodhisattvas, there are those who first achieve merits for themselves and afterward deliver sentient beings, and there are those who first bring sentient beings to completion and afterward achieve merits for themselves."'
