第二一偈慶得值佛。「快哉」慶詞，下出所慶。「遇得金聚，值調御師」，明己所得，先喻、後法。「不懼墮畜」，彰己所離。值佛除癡，故離畜生。前得人身，應離地獄，隱別彰通，後值佛等亦應通離，隱通彰別，文之左右。

The second verse celebrates encountering the Buddha. "How joyful!" is an expression of celebration; below, it brings out what is celebrated. "Encountering a heap of gold, meeting the Tamer and Guide" clarifies what he himself obtained, first the metaphor and then the doctrine. "Without fear of falling into [the realm of] animals" reveals what he himself avoided. Meeting the Buddha eliminates delusion, and therefore he avoids animals. Previously, obtaining a human body should avoid hell—hiding the specific to show the general; later, meeting the Buddha and so forth should also generally avoid [all bad realms]—hiding the general to show the specific: this is the variation of the text.
