Within the next two verses, from the beginning up to "crying out with a loud voice that there is no Tamer" recounts "the Supreme Honoured One among humans is now about to enter nirvāṇa" in the verse above, explaining the grief and suffering of the assembly. All the world gives rise to distress and affliction; by knowing that the World-Honoured One wishes to enter nirvāṇa, it explains the suffering in the assembly's hearts. Crying out with a loud voice saying "in the world there is no Tamer" explains the vocal lamentation of the assembly; speaking of the Buddha's nirvāṇa is called there being no Tamer. "You should not abandon sentient beings; you should regard them like sons" recounts "you should pity us, only swiftly entreat the Buddha" in the verse above, making the formal entreaty on their behalf.
