In the third, Cunda's revealing his own understanding, he first accepts Mañjuśrī's preceding instruction and contemplates the Buddha through principle as not being conditioned. Below the analogy of the short lifespan, based on what he knows himself, he instructs and scolds Mañjuśrī. In the former part, it first says: "The Tathāgata is the most honored and most supreme among devas and humans," directly establishing the principle; below, in reference to this principle, he examines the Tathāgata, clarifying that he is not conditioned. Within this, he first explains that if he were identical to the conditioned, he would be neither honored nor supreme. Below the analogy of the wrestler, he explains that being honored and supreme, he must crush the conditioned. In the former, there are two parts: first, directly explaining that if the Tathāgata were conditioned, he would be neither honored nor supreme; second, from "Furthermore, Mañjuśrī, as you have spoken..." downward, he re-examines Mañjuśrī.
