第二如來讚純陀中，初對文殊印可純陀，文殊深智，明練是非，對之述可，以顯純陀所言決定。「善哉」已下，正對純陀而為述歎。純陀如學，人多不信，故佛述可令人歸信。「汝成大智」，正是歎詞。「善人」已下顯大智相。入猶解也，謂解大乘經中深義。

In the second [section], where the Tathāgata praises Cunda: first, addressing Mañjuśrī, he confirms Cunda. Mañjuśrī possesses deep wisdom and clearly discerns right from wrong; confirming [Cunda] in front of him shows that what Cunda said is definitive. From "Excellent!" onward, he directly praises and corroborates Cunda. Because Cunda was an ordinary student, many people did not believe him; therefore the Buddha corroborated him to lead people to take refuge in faith. "You have achieved great wisdom" is precisely the word of praise. From "Virtuous man" onward, he reveals the marks of great wisdom. "Enter" is like understand, meaning understanding the profound meaning in the Mahāyāna sūtras.
