自下第七明煖心人。煖等四心如別章釋，此應具論。煖心人中具有三義：一遇惡友出已還沒、二遇善友堅住不退、三學觀四諦即名觀方。文中初先牒前生後，「迦葉白」下問答廣顯。「如是等人終不斷」下，就之開分退住等別。初段可知。

From here below is the seventh, explaining the person of the warmth mind. The four minds of warmth and so forth are explained as in the separate chapter; here they should be discussed fully. Within the person of the warmth mind, there are three aspects: first, meeting bad friends, emerging and then falling back; second, meeting good friends, standing firm without retrogressing; third, learning to contemplate the four truths, which is called 'contemplating the directions.' In the text, it first reiterates what came before to introduce what follows; from "Kāśyapa said" downward, the questions and answers elaborate it broadly. From "such people will ultimately not sever" downward, it differentiates the distinctions between falling back, remaining, and so forth with respect to them. The first section can be understood.
