10.86

下破第三已合共合。先牒總非，「何以故」下，釋以顯非。於中，初法、次喻、後合。法中，「先無後方合」者，明其共合無常所以。「先無後有是無常」者，正明共合有無常過。「是故」已下，結破共合。喻合可知。此初門竟。

Below, it refutes the third, conjunction of the already conjoined. It first restates and generally negates it; from 'Why is this?' downward, it explains to reveal the error. In this, first is the dharma, next the analogy, and last the application. In the dharma, 'previously non-existent, only afterwards conjoining' clarifies the reason why this mutual conjunction is impermanent. 'Non-existent previously and existent afterwards is impermanent' directly clarifies that mutual conjunction has the fault of impermanence. From 'Therefore' downward, it concludes the refutation of mutual conjunction. The analogy and application can be understood. This concludes the first approach.
