就第三段勸人護中，初舉未來留難之事，「是說法者設命終」下彰益勸為，「以是緣」下勸人防護。上來辯得。第三結勸，文顯可知。就明下品比丘之中，「如是破戒名禿居士者」，名前破戒害法師人為禿居士，非持戒者得是名字，簡上異下。

In the third section, exhorting people to protect: first he raises the matter of future obstacles; from "Even if this Dharma-teacher dies" onward reveals the benefit to exhort action; from "For this reason" onward exhorts people to guard and protect. The above distinguishes the attainments. The third part concludes with an exhortation; the text is clear and may be known. In clarifying the inferior grade of monks, "such a precept-breaker is called a shaven-headed householder" designates the aforementioned person who breaks precepts and harms the Dharma master as a shaven-headed householder; it is not that one who upholds precepts obtains this name, distinguishing the superior from the inferior.
