下總結勸，就明出家德行相中，初迦葉問：「為有師耶？為無師乎？」問持法人師德有無，為是持戒？為是破戒？問持法人師行持犯。

Below concludes with an exhortation. In clarifying the ordained virtues, conduct, and marks, Kāśyapa first asks: "Do they have a teacher? Or do they have no teacher?" He asks about the presence or absence of the teacher's virtues in the person upholding the Dharma: is he upholding the precepts, or is he breaking the precepts? He asks about the teacher's conduct—upholding or violating—in the person upholding the Dharma.
