就初段中，「汝應受持經名章句所有德」者，此經名中說大涅槃所有功德，攝旨從詮，故曰名字。所有功德持之得樂，故應受持。

In the first section, “You should receive and uphold all the virtues of the sentences and phrases of the sūtra's name” means: within the name of this sūtra, all the virtues of the Great Nirvāṇa are spoken; gathering the purport from the verbal expression, it is therefore called the name. Because by upholding all the virtues one attains bliss, one should receive and uphold it.
