2.61

第三初聞不受喻中，初言「狂耶為熱病乎」，呵責其人。「而言」已下，呵責其言。初先直呵「而言服乳能除此病」。「汝先言」下，舉昔徵今。「先醫讚」下，舉舊責新。「如汝言」下，讚舊毀新。

In the third [section], the parable of initially hearing and not accepting: the initial words 'Are you mad, or do you have a fever?' rebuke the person. From 'yet you say' downward rebukes his words. First, it directly scolds: 'yet you say that taking milk can eliminate this illness.' From 'You previously said' downward cites the past to interrogate the present. From 'The former physician praised' downward cites the old to reproach the new. From 'As you say' downward praises the old and disparages the new.
