自下第三喻明四依自行無犯。「是時童子雖為是」者，雖為向前同邪之事，從邪通正辨得兼失，故名「雖」也。自行無犯名「猶不失婆羅門法」。

From here down is the third metaphor, explaining that the four reliances' own practice is without infraction. 'At that time, although the young man did this' means that although he did the aforesaid act of conforming to the heterodox, discerning the gain along with the loss in opening the correct from the heterodox is why it says 'although.' That his own practice is without infraction is called 'he still did not lose the brāhmaṇa's Dharma.'
