3.157

勸中三句：一明未來有破戒人不應給施禮拜供養；二有受畜不淨物者亦不應施禮拜供養；三重戒勸有破戒者不應以被袈裟因緣恭敬禮拜，破戒過重，故偏舉之。

Within the exhortation there are three clauses: first, clarifying that if there are precept-breaking persons in the future, one should not provide alms, prostrate, or make offerings to them; second, if there are those who accept and keep impure things, one should likewise not give alms, prostrate, or make offerings to them; third, the heavy precepts exhort that toward those who break the precepts, one should not revere and prostrate to them on the grounds of their wearing the kāṣāya; because the fault of breaking the precepts is extremely grave, it is specifically singled out.
