第二段中「若言我已成就菩提」說因有果，「何以故」下釋成有義，「以是緣」下結成有義，此顯犯相，「當知是」下結明有犯，宣說因中已有方便菩提之果，所以成犯。「何以故」下釋成犯義，「有性未修不得菩提」舉是顯非。

In the second section, "If one says: 'I have already accomplished bodhi'" speaks of having the fruit within the cause; from "Why?" below, it explains and establishes the meaning of having [the fruit]; from "By this cause" below, it concludes and establishes the meaning of having [the fruit]—this reveals the characteristic of the infraction; from "You should know that this [person]" below, it concludes and clarifies that there is an infraction: proclaiming that the fruit of expedient bodhi already exists within the cause is the reason an infraction is incurred. From "Why?" below, it explains and establishes the meaning of the infraction; "having the nature without cultivation does not attain bodhi" raises the correct to reveal the incorrect.
