第二段中，句別有三：一為教他故說己身中有性得果，「我今身中亦有佛性」明現有因，「有經名」下明當得果，「我成佛道」得菩提果，「盡煩惱結」得涅槃果；二「廣為」下說他有性；三「我與汝」下明己及他以有性故當具佛因，成就佛果，「我之與汝俱當安住如來道地」明具佛因，所謂住於十地之道，成下得果。於中初明成菩提果，「無量」下得涅槃果，「作是說」下總結無犯。

In the second section, distinct phrases are three: first, for the sake of teaching others, saying that one has the nature in one's own body and will attain the fruit—"I now also have the buddha-nature in my body" clarifies currently having the cause; from "There is a sūtra named" below, it clarifies that one will attain the fruit in the future; "I accomplish the Buddha Way" attains the fruit of bodhi; "exhausting the bonds of afflictions" attains the fruit of nirvāṇa; second, from "Extensively for" below, it says that others have the nature; third, from "I and you" below, it clarifies that oneself and others, by having the nature, will be endowed with the buddha-cause and accomplish the buddha-fruit—"I and you shall both dwell securely on the Tathāgata's ground of the path" clarifies possessing the buddha-cause, namely dwelling on the path of the ten grounds to accomplish the fruit attained below. Therein, it first clarifies accomplishing the fruit of bodhi; from "Immeasurable" below, attaining the fruit of nirvāṇa; from "Making such a statement" below, it summarizes that there is no infraction.
