明不犯中，初為通教法，現聖無犯，「復言我今亦有性」下為通證法，說己身中有性不犯，「作是」下結。初中五句：一為建正法住空寂處，欲令他人謂己是聖；二令他敬信；三因他敬信，悉來附己；四因來附己，令起行以通正法；五「光揚」下因他附己化令生解，以通正法，謂令眾生解佛所說輕重之義。

Under clarifying non-transgression, first, for the sake of promoting the teachings of the Dharma, manifesting as a sage is not an infraction; from "Furthermore, saying: 'I now also possess the nature'" below, for the sake of promoting the realized Dharma, saying that one has the nature in one's own body is not an infraction; from "Doing so" below, it concludes. In the first part there are five phrases: first, in order to establish the true Dharma, dwelling in an empty and quiet place, wishing to make others consider oneself a sage; second, causing others to revere and believe; third, by virtue of their reverent faith, they all come to attach themselves [to oneself]; fourth, by virtue of their coming to attach themselves, prompting them to arouse practice so as to promote the true Dharma; fifth, from "Glorifying" below, by virtue of their attaching themselves, converting them to generate understanding so as to promote the true Dharma, which means prompting sentient beings to understand the meaning of light and grave [precepts] taught by the Buddha.
