3.65

前中初明四依弘護，是經流處即是金剛，下還嘆經勝，令人愛樂，憑依修學。初中，如來先彰未來多人謗經，明須四依。次迦葉請於佛滅後久近便謗，問癈滅時，「有何等」下問弘護人。

In the former, it first explains that where the four refuges propagate and protect, the place where this sūtra circulates is itself a vajra; below, it returns to praising the pre-eminence of the sūtra to cause people to love and delight in it, relying upon it to cultivate and learn. In the initial [part], the Tathāgata first reveals that in the future many people will slander the sūtra, explaining the necessity of the four refuges. Next, Kāśyapa asks how long after the Buddha's parinirvāṇa they will slander it, asking about the time of abandonment and disappearance; from "What kind of" onward, he asks about the persons who propagate and protect.
