3.74

「菩薩得」下合第三段，「菩薩得已」合王得已，「即便廣說」合前分張，「令無量眾得受法味」合舉國食，食已皆喜略而不合，「皆悉是此一菩薩」下合作是言因彼王故得希有食。

From "When the bodhisattvas obtain it" onward applies the third passage: "After the bodhisattvas have obtained it" corresponds to after the king has obtained it; "immediately expounding it widely" corresponds to the previous distribution; "causing immeasurable multitudes to partake of the flavor of the Dharma" corresponds to the whole country eating it—having eaten it and all being joyful is omitted and not applied; from "all was due to this one bodhisattva" onward corresponds to uttering such words: "Because of that king, we obtained rare food."
