Language
Classical Chinese

4.106

In the second section, it first presents the similes of non-conception and neither conception [nor non-conception], and below applies them to reveal the doctrine. There are three distinct clauses: 1. clarifying that truly having no grief is possessing the self; 2. from "If one says" onward, demonstrating that in transformation there is grief, clarifying that it is together with non-self, wherein three clauses refute non-existence and reveal existence; 3. from "By this meaning" onward, it broadly praises and reveals the profundity; "The Buddha is inconceivable" and so forth analogously praise and reveal the profundity; "Having grief and lacking grief is the Buddha's realm" directly praises and reveals the profundity.
