「是醫見」下明其治能，文有三對：一始化不信。於此經中顯物機病義稱為「見」，所化眾生自在如「王」，說彼眾生過有重罪定墮地獄，故言「王今有必死病」。下明不信，不信之情反經稱答，過往之罪冥伏在身，現不可覩，故言「不見我腹內事，云何而言有必死病」。

From "this physician saw" below, it explains his curative ability, the text having three pairs: first, initially transforming the unbelieving. In this sūtra, revealing the capacity and illness of beings is figuratively called "seeing"; the beings to be transformed have mastery like a "king"; stating that those beings have grave sins from the past and will definitely fall into hell, it therefore says "the king now has a fatal illness." Below, it explains unbelief: the disposition of unbelief contradicts the sūtra in its answer, for sins from the past lie hidden in the body and cannot be seen at present, hence it says "you do not see what is inside my belly, why do you say I have a fatal illness?"
