In the simile, first the Tathāgata's secret words are illustrated by a simile; from "There is a wise minister..." onward illustrates that wisdom is able to understand. In the former part, "Told the minister, 'Bring saindhava'" generally illustrates secret words: the "king" illustrates the Tathāgata; the "minister" illustrates the bodhisattva; "saindhava" illustrates all secret words of the Buddha and is not limited to anything specific. Below, it reveals them separately. Therein, first it reiterates the general and opens into the particulars; next it lists the four names; from "Such as..." downward concludes. Saindhava is the name of a mountain; this mountain produces fine salt, vessels, water, horses, and so forth; using the place to refer to the things, these four kinds therefore share the same name, saindhava.
